Although safeguarding supervision is a statutory requirement in some sectors, it is often overlooked in schools, resulting in very high rates of vicarious trauma and burnout in staff providing safeguarding and pastoral care.
Safeguarding supervision provide an independent, robust, confidential space to reflect, process, and strengthen decision-making, and support emotional wellbeing.
This work is informed by over 10 years of experience in safeguarding roles, including DSL, DDSL, Safeguarding Manager and Pastoral Manager, across both UK and international education and charity settings.
